The Physics Department  is well equipped with applied and engineering physics laboratories for training undergraduate students. The students lab includes facilities for several experiments in Optics and  Modern Physics. In addition to the undergraduate laboratory, the department  also houses adequately equipped research laboratories for conducting research in areas related to materials science and molecular biophysics.
